This is some experimentation with hanging one of the encaustic sculptures in a window. As the sun gently heats the wax, the piece morphs and changes shape. It's a very free-form, organic process - letting gravity make choices together with your own more deliberate thoughts. But often something seemingly random comes together perfectly, creating exactly what you'd hoped! So being open to letting chance, chaos or the guidance of random occurrence lead you, can really be an informative process, more so than it may seem at the outset.

A beginning is both exciting and scary. It is the most momentous thing where all possibilities are wide open and available. The shimmering bliss of this potential is overwhelming and intoxicating.
You need only choose a path and even without choosing, the journey is already underway...
Yet this delicate , quivering, vitality is so fragile and ephemeral... Will it vanish like mist?
Or solidify into something concrete and tangible - something that can be built upon?
Everything seems possible, yet it could all fall apart.
Real beginnings are hard. To wake up and change - that is the process of changing, which never happens all at once but rather is shaped through time and deliberate effort and the inexplicable hand of fate.
